Male privilege is expecting that you are entitled to a woman’s body if she is wearing provocative clothing or any clothing that shows her curves or skin, even if she never said anything that indicates that she wants you.

Men give birth, too.
To children.
To longings.
To dreams.
That they must hide.
Their stomachs.
Their uteruses.
Their hungers.
Their softness.
Their cravings for touch.
To be
man is the thing
that closes their light.
eats their eyes.

It’s hard for us to believe what we’re hearing these days. Thousands are losing their homes, and gays want a day named after Harvey Milk. The US military is continuing its path of destruction, and gays want to be allowed to fight. Cops are still killing unarmed black men and bashing queers, and gays want more policing. More and more Americans are suffering and dying because they can’t get decent health care, and gays want weddings. What happened to us?

i told him that

i am not looking

for him to give me

the love that i can

give myself.

i am awake.

(your) tongue

(my) mouth

is how lies

became an acquired taste.

This is our echo.
I put my ear against the wall & hear the moans from the last time your hips pulled their tides against my shore. -Shinji Moon

The Anatomy of Being (via sweetpeaphotog)

eros, arrows
by shinji moon

slaughterhouse mouth, your throat-cutters tongue;
as the sky let down its snow-filled skirts
our feathers shifted south, pale coats hung,
the radiator shifting,              shuck

oh moan your hands off; take my mouth off;
your teeth are geese; my teeth are take-offs;
with your inside voice, my inside hands,
I ask:          baby, let me rearrange
                  your bones off.

I look at you and see all the ways a soul can bruise, and I wish I could sink my hands into your flesh and light lanterns along your spine so you know that there’s nothing but light when I see you
